Food Technology Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Lead research initiatives to enhance the sensory, nutritional, and safety aspects of cultivated meat products.
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable production processes for cultivated meat, focusing on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Document, analyze, interpret data, and effectively communicate results and knowledge.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both within R&D and with culinary experts, to achieve project objectives.
- Work closely with external partners, suppliers, and research institutions to leverage expertise and keep up-to-date with industry trends.
- Adhere to corporate standards, guidelines, and lab policies to maintain a safe and effective working environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Food Sciences, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Up to 1 year of experience in food product development (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in developing meat-based products or meat analogues (preferred).
- Experience in flavor and aroma development, and tasting analysis (preferred).
- Knowledge of fats and oils (preferred).
