Open Roles
QA Director
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include managing and executing QA activities in the following areas:
- Routine Operations: Including production, utility and facility validation, and QC processes.
- Quality Compliance: Managing audits, CAPA, employee training, change control, quality standards, document control, and QA oversight for non-manufacturing departments.
- QA Strategy: Developing and implementing control strategies, HACCP/HARPC plans, global quality requirements, supplier quality assessments, and qualifying new production materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with R&D and Operations teams to establish and meet quality and safety targets for products.
- Create and implement quality assurance strategies and processes while maintaining high levels of product protection.
- Define and enforce detailed product safety requirements in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, international regulations, and other applicable regulatory requirements, as well as internal company policies and procedures.
- Lead and manage QA teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and continuous improvement of quality and safety systems.
- Maintain and support Quality Management Systems (QMS) and all associated safety requirements.
- Establish preventive measures to mitigate food safety hazards and quality defects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum B.Sc. degree (relevant field preferred).
- At least 7 years of experience in quality management systems, preferably within a manufacturing company.
- Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with familiarity in its quality and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in managing and leading teams, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Preference for candidates with experience in cleanroom production environments.
Pilot Process Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the scale-up of processes in the production of cultivated meat by working in a clean room environment under GMP standards.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of cell lines and pilot-scale bioreactors.
- Work in collaboration with the R&D teams to optimize production processes.
- Participate in writing protocols and work procedures.
- Document and supervise the production process by using computerized systems.
- Prepare and document the production in batch manufacturing systems.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in biology, biotechnology, or another scientific or engineering field.
- Previous experience in biotech or pharmaceutical companies (advantage).
- Previous experience working in a clean room or production environment (advantage).
- Knowledge of cGMP requirements.
- Strong technical skills (required).
- Proficient in English.
- Willingness to work in shifts as part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment (required).
Food Safety Specialist
Responsibilities:
Supplier and Material Certification:
- Manage supplier approval processes to meet food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000).
- Conduct supplier audits, perform risk assessments, and review supplier documentation.
- Review and approve raw material specifications and Certificates of Analysis (COA).
Food Safety Management:
- Lead supply chain risk management initiatives to ensure food safety across the supply chain.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve food safety protocols in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Support internal and external audits, including those by customers and regulatory bodies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with R&D and production teams to integrate food safety requirements into products and processes.
- Advise procurement teams on food safety considerations for suppliers and raw materials.
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to maintain alignment with industry best practices.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date documentation system for approved suppliers and materials.

- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- 3-5 years of experience in food safety and quality control, with an emphasis on suppliers and supply chain management.
- In-depth knowledge of international food safety standards and regulations (HACCP, GFSI, FSSC 22000, BRC).
- Proven experience in supplier audits or certification processes — mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct thorough risk assessments.
- High proficiency in English (written and spoken) for effective communication with international suppliers and stakeholders.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with GMP work environments.
- Experience in the food tech industry — an advantage.
