We’re excited to share that environmental activist and Academy Award winning actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, has joined Aleph Farms as an investor and a member of our Sustainability Board.

The ongoing systemic challenges in the meat sector highlight the critical need for investment and innovation to create more sustainable and resilient food systems. For example, cultivated meat has the potential to drastically reduce the overall environmental footprint of meat production, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 92%, land use by 95%, and water use by 78% compared to intensive livestock farming. Leo joins the Aleph family at a time where we are expanding our global footprint and continuing to scale our cultivated meat production platform worldwide. His involvement in our advisory board not only validates our technological prowess but also confirms our roadmap for ushering in a new paradigm of meat production to a more mainstream audience.
